IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Damage to Feuling Parts products from excessive pinion shaft run out, valve spring coil bind or excessive debris in oil will void manufacturer’s warranty.

WARRANTY:

Starting February 12, 2018 Feuling Parts will offer a 2 year warranty on parts installed by authorized installers, with completed online registration form. If parts are installed by a unauthorized installer or the warranty registration is not completed the standard 1 year warranty will apply. Please see details below.

Standard 1-Year Warranty

All parts are guaranteed to the original purchaser to be free of manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. Merchandise that fails to conform to these conditions will be repaired or replaced at FOP’s option if the parts are returned to FOP by the purchaser within the (12) month warranty period. In the event warranty service is required, the original purchaser must notify FOP of the problem immediately. Some problems may be rectified by a telephone call and need no further action. A part that is suspect of being defective must not be replaced without prior authorization from FOP. If it is deemed necessary for FOP to make an evaluation to determine whether the part was defective, it must be packaged properly to avoid further damage, and be returned prepaid to FOP with a copy of the original invoice of purchase and a detailed letter outlining the nature of the problem, how the part was used and the circumstances at the time of failure. After an evaluation has been made by FOP and the part was found to be defective, repair, replacement or refund will be granted. Excessive flywheel pinion shaft run out will damage camplate and oil pump and or cause engine damage and or failure. Damage to Feuling Parts products from excessive pinion shaft run out will void manufacturer’s warranty.

Optional 2-Year Warranty

Starting February 12, 2018 an additional twelve (12) month warranty (totaling twenty-four months from the date of install/purchase) is available on internal engine components manufactured by FOP, when the parts have been installed by an authorized installer. To achieve the additional warranty term the installer must fill out an online registration form through the online portal or mail in the warranty registration card included in the kit. Installers must provide the following information at the time of install for warranty validation:

  1. Dealer Information.
  2. Customer Information.
  3. Vehicle Information (Year, Make, Model, VIN # and Mileage).
  4. Pinion Shaft Runout.
  5. Invoice/Work Order Number.

Pinion shaft runout must be within FOP’s specification (0.0045” or less) at time of install. If an oiling system, lifters, oil pump and/or camplate is being installed the oil pan must be dropped and flushed to qualify for the extended warranty period.
Any engine that has a prior engine failure leading to the current build/upgrades is required to be flushed before new components are installed. If the bike is equipped with an oil cooler the cooler must be flushed or replaced to maintain warranty.
In the event that a customer or installer feels that the product/s is faulty once installed they must first contact FOP prior to disassembling the engine for diagnosis. If the FOP part/s is found defective within the warranty period the part/s will be repaired or replaced. FOP is not responsible for any consequential damage that may occur, diagnosis time and/or labor.
