We are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant/Manager to join our accounting team. This position will play an important role in managing the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and month-end close processes while working closely with the owner. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and applicable accounting standards.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations, including bank statements, balance sheets, and subsidiary ledgers to verify data integrity.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with tax laws and company policies.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Prepare journal entries, conduct account analysis, and oversee double-entry bookkeeping processes to maintain balanced financial records.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks Online to streamline bookkeeping workflows.
- Generate detailed financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses to support management decisions.
- Assist with budgeting processes and provide insights on financial trends to improve fiscal health.
- Conduct regular account reconciliation tasks such as bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy across all accounts.
- Support audit preparations by maintaining organized documentation of financial transactions and internal controls.
